Draft modes
Choose your wheel
By default the draft wheel spins across all 58 squads in the database. A draft mode narrows it to one era or one league — fewer sectors, so each one comes up often enough to matter.
Every mode below is a different game. La Liga is the strongest squad-for-squad, with the 2010s just behind it; the 90s and Serie A are the hardest, and they are hard in opposite ways — the 90s is thinner throughout, while Serie A gives you two or three greats and asks you to carry the rest. Pick one, spin it eleven times and see what you can build.
A few of the oldest squads belong to no mode at all — the European Cup winners from before 1990 are too early for the decade modes and come from leagues that don't have one. They still turn up on the full wheel; they just have no narrower home. Steaua, Dynamo Kyiv and PSV are in the squad database for exactly that reason.
