The club, season by season

The 1997-98 team won the league and the FA Cup in Wenger's first full season, with Bergkamp at 90 and a back line inherited from George Graham that was already famous. The 2005-06 side reached the club's first European Cup final, ten men holding out for most of it in Paris, with Henry at 94, the highest-rated player the club has produced in this database. The 2025-26 squad is the current one — Saka, Rice and Ødegaard — and the only side in the entire draft whose season has not finished.

In the draft

A pool built around single great attackers rather than depth. Henry and Bergkamp are the two names that decide a run here, and Bergkamp is the only player in more than one of the squads. The current side drafts differently from anything else in the game: no honours to its name yet, no nostalgia, and ratings that reflect what players are now rather than what they will be remembered as.

Every Arsenal squad below can turn up when you spin the wheel — the highest-rated of them all is Thierry Henry (93), and the best XI these 3 squads could theoretically assemble averages 88.3. You don't get to pick: the wheel decides which squad you draft from, one pick at a time. That is the whole shape of it: you draft your own XI first, then find out what it was worth.
