Chelsea Squads
Two European titles nine years apart, and not one player in both — the clearest example in the database of what a rebuild actually looks like.
The club, season by season
The 2011-12 side won it the improbable way: a caretaker manager, a semi-final held with ten men at the Camp Nou, and a final won in Munich against the team whose stadium it was, with Drogba scoring and then converting the penalty. The 2020-21 team won it the modern way, with Tuchel arriving in January, Kanté running the semi-final and the final, and a defence that conceded twice in the entire knockout phase. Same trophy, same club, nothing else in common.
In the draft
The two squads share no players at all, so a Chelsea draft never repeats itself. They are also the flattest squads in the game: the gap between a Chelsea first XI and the rest of its bench is the smallest of any club here, so there is no star to build around and no passenger to carry. Kanté at 90 is the only player either side produced above that line.
Every Chelsea squad below can turn up when you spin the wheel — the highest-rated of them all is N'Golo Kanté (90), and the best XI these 2 squads could theoretically assemble averages 86.8. You don't get to pick: the wheel decides which squad you draft from, one pick at a time. That is the whole shape of it: you draft your own XI first, then find out what it was worth.

Players in more than one of them
None. Not one player appears in two Chelsea squads in this database — the sides were rebuilt completely between them, which is rarer than it sounds: at Milan, Maldini is in all four.
